- Ambient Light-the light surrounding an environment or subject.
- Artificial Light- lighting altered by man or specifically modified to achieve ocular requirements.
- ASA/ISO/Film Speed-the sensitivity to light of a photographic film, specified in terms of the film's ISO rating .
- Bracket- shooting the same subject with different aperture settings.
- Depth of Field-the range of distances along the axis of an optical instrument, usually a camera lens, through which an object will produce a relatively distinct image.

chuck close pictures
I like Chuck Close's work because of the detail and realizm of it.
He adds a very human factor to all of his photos, they are imperfect and gritty
but they show the true sides of people, the raw image.

amazing photos 2013
I find this photo funny because of how confused the bear looks and just the absurdity of a bear sitting on a tightrope. I like their use of lighting and the angle of the picture.
I like this photo because it makes me feel sad for the dog and yet excited for him that he can still walk and be free. i like the expression on the dog's face, and the background because it makes him look indepenant.
